The healing process can seem like a long and painful journey. Having an experienced professional can make all the difference. I'm a licensed, trauma-focused, EMDR therapist who takes a non-judgmental approach to the therapeutic process. As a trauma therapist, I believe that addressing the root causes of problems can help alleviate many mental health symptoms and lead to a more connected and fulfilling life. I love working with people while they navigate life's challenges. I feel extremely grateful that I get to do this work and witness my local St. Augustine neighbors heal.
I have nearly 10 years experience as a therapist. Prior to entering private practice, I served as Clinical Director for a large outpatient therapy center. My specialties include trauma based treatments, somatic, and EMDR tools that aim to decrease anxiety and improve mindfulness. I am trained in KAP (Psycheledic Assisted Psychotherapy), EMDR, DBT, ART and I'm also a certified yoga instructor. As a trauma therapist, I have found all of these tools to be highly effective in helping people heal from their past and improve their relationships with themselves and others.
